The Finance Office, located at Village Hall, is in many ways the informational center for the Village. The Finance Department is dedicated to providing residents with exceptional government financial administration. Here to cordially and competently service your needs is Office Manager Margaret Garbacz, AR-Utility Billing Coordinator Monika Kumor, and Finance Office Assistant Monica Arteaga. Both Margaret Garbacz and Monika Kumor are bi-lingual, speaking fluent English and Polish. Monica Arteaga is also bi-lingual, speaking fluent English and Spanish, for your added convenience. The Finance Office staff is committed to exceeding your expectations for first class service.
The Finance Office provides services including:
- Collection of Sewer & Refuse Bills
Bills are computed every two months (odd months). Pay your bill in person, by mail, or for added convenience, pay online using E-pay or the use the IVR automatic phone payment system. After hours, use the drop box outside the main office. All major credit cards are accepted.

Documents can be notarized in the Village Hall Finance Office free of charge. A photo I.D. is required.
- Passport Services
Passport Applications are available in the Finance Office. Passport processing accepted Monday-Friday from 8:30AM to 3:30PM. (To visit U.S. Department of State website for applications and passport forms click here.)
- Sale of Animal Licenses
In compliance with Village Ordinance No. Sec. 7-103 (f), annual registration is required for all cats and dogs in the village. Proof of rabies vaccination must be presented.

- Sale of Vehicle Stickers
In compliance with Village Code Chap. 6, Art. II, Sec. 6-22, all motor vehicles are required to display a municipal vehicle sticker within thirty (30) days of moving into the village or obtaining a vehicle. Annually, vehicle stickers are sold in May and June. Vehicle registration is required to purchase. After June 30th, vehicle sticker applications must be accompanied by a home purchase agreement/signed lease or bill of sale for the vehicle, in order to purchase the sticker at the regular rate. Late fee is double the original fee. Vehicle stickers can be purchased in the police department after normal business hours.

- Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted in the Finance Office.
- Senior Discount rates on Sewer & Refuse Bills and Village Vehicle Stickers are available at age 62 and over. To apply for Sewer and Refuse Bill discount, please present your most recent property tax bill and a valid driver’s license. To apply for Village Vehicle Sticker discount, the License Plate Registration must accompany a valid driver’s license.

- Electronic Waste Collection Bin is located insisde Village Hall. Please drop off any small electronics during business hours.
-Vet Tech US collects and recycles older unwanted electronics, or “e-waste” which can no longer by law be disposed of in landfills. The e-waste they collect for recycling helps fund veteran training and is used in the free IT training program. When possible, Vet Tech US refurbishes older electronics and donates them to community and charitable organizations in need.
- An American Red Cross Foundation cell phone recycling box is located in Finance Office.

GROOT Garbage/Recycle Pick-Up:
Groot shall provide each dwelling unit receiving scavenger services with Free Bulk Item Pickup, on regularly scheduled garbage service days. Free bulk item pickup means the free collection on each occasion of up to two (2) bulk items, including without limitation, couches, dressers, cabinets, dining room table and chairs, and/or household appliances commonly known as ‘white goods’ including without limitations, stoves and refrigerators. Three (3) or more bulk items set out for collection each week will be charged per item with payment prior to collection. Carpeting will be an additional fee and must be cut into four foot lengths and rolled in a manageable size for the driver to safely collect. Please call Groot toll free at 888-485-0900 to arrange pickup. Recyclables must be placed in the Village owned 65 gallon cart on your regular day of collection. Monday- Yard Waste Only! Groot will collect unlimited volumes of yard waste. Yard Waste will be picked up by Groot Disposal every Monday (April 1st – November 30th). Yard waste is classified as leaves, grass, shrub clippings, garden residue, sticks and branches cut in 36 inch lengths or less. All loose leaves, grass and shrub clippings should be bagged or placed in a container not exceeding 60lbs. Brush and branches up to 6 inches must be bundled with twine (no wire or plastic).
Tuesday – South of 79th Street, North of 83rd Street, West of Roberts Road; and East side of 85th Avenue.
Wednesday – West Side of 85th Avenue, East of Kean Avenue; North of 83rd Street; and South of 79th Street.
Thursday – East Side of Cork/88th Avenue, South of 71st Street; and North of Archer/79th Street.
Friday – West Side of Cork/88th Avenue, South of 71st Street; and North of Archer/79th Street.
