Village President/Mayor,
Krzysztof (Kris) Wasowicz
On April 17, 2007 the voters of Justice elected Krzysztof Wasowicz
to a two year term as their mayor.
On April 7, 2009 Mayor Wasowicz was re-elected to a 4 year term.
Kris Wasowicz and his wife, Helen, have lived in Justice since 1988.
Their two sons, Christopher and Andrew, attended Brodnicki and Wilkins
schools. Christopher is a U.S. Marine and has served in Iraq. Both are
currently attending Illinois University. Kris received his Masters
Degree with a concentration in Biology from the University of Krakow.
Kris has set lofty goals for himself throughout his life and has worked
hard to achieve them. His goal now is to continue bringing an open
transparent style of government to the village and moving Justice
forward in the positive direction.

Village Clerk, Kathleen M. Svoboda
On April 3rd, 2001 the Voters of Justice elected Kathy
Svoboda as their Village Clerk. Kathy has served on the
Zoning and Planning Commission and the Police and Fire Commission
for the Village of Justice before serving multiple terms as a
Village Trustee. On April 7, 2009 Kathy Svoboda was
once again re-elected to a third 4 year term as
Village Clerk of Justice. Click

Village
Trustee, Kinga Bartoszek
Kinga Bartoszek was elected Trustee on April 7,
2009. Kinga, has held executive
leadership positions in the private and nonprofit sectors, which
includes hospitals, national consulting organizations; a top 100
corporation and currently a national nonprofit organization. She is
committed to working with Mayor Wasowicz to sustain the viability of
the Village of Justice as a great place to live and work. Kinga
holds a BS in Business Management from St. Xavier University in
Chicago, IL. Kinga was a Zoning and Planning Commissioner for the
Village of Justice from 2004-2006, and was appointed as a Trustee
from November 2006 to May 2007.

Trustee, Phil DePaola
Phil DePaola was elected Trustee on April 7,
2009.

Village Trustee, Mary McGee
On April 17, 2007 the voters elected Mary
McGee as trustee.
Mary is a longtime resident of Justice.
She attended school district 109 and 217. She earned an Associate
Degree from Moraine Valley Community College and has a Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Management with a concentration in Organizational
Leadership from Lewis University. Mary is currently pursuing an MBA
with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
Mary and her husband Dan are proud parents of
three children, 8-year-old triplets Edward, Kathryn and Daniel.
Ms. McGee is chairperson of the Public Safety Committee.

Village Trustee, Michael Murray
On April 17, 2007 the voters elected
Michael Murray as trustee.
Mike has called Justice his home for 42
years. He attended school districts 108 and 217. Mike attended
Moraine Valley Community College where he studied Business
Administration. He has furthered his education by attending DeVry
Institute of Technology where he had studies in electrical and
industrial engineering. Mike’s background in business and safety
will be an asset to the Village. He believes in fiscal
responsibility and accountability.

Building, Plats and Zoning Committee.

Village Trustee,
George Pastorino
George Pastorino was appointed as a
Trustee in 2009 to fill the vacancy of retiring Trustee Jeff Kranig.
George and his wife Pussanee have called Justice home for 9 years.
George has worked in the Medical Technologies field for over 30
years. He has studied Business Administration and has obtained more
than 30 certificates in his professional career. He volunteers his
time for many organizations in and around the Justice area. He has
served the Village, as a Commissioner, on the Police and Fire
Commission for the past several years. George is a strong believer
in Mayor Wasowicz’ transparent, open style of government and is
committed to working with the Mayor and his fellow Trustees to keep
Justice government open, honest and working hard for all Its residents.
Mr. Pastorino is chairperson of the Administration and Buildings Committee.
