CHILD SAFETY SEAT INSPECTION
PROGRAM
Statistics show that on
average, 90 to 95 percent of all child safety seats are installed
incorrectly, leaving children virtually unprotected. In an effort to
respond to this alarming fact, the Justice Police Department offers free
child safety seat inspections and/or installations at the Justice Police
station located at 7800 S. Archer Road.
Call
(708) 458-2192
to set up an appointment with Officer Tony DeBella, a certified
child safety seat technician.
Residents and non-residents are welcome. This is an ongoing program
which the police department offers. For more information, on child
safety, please visit the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety
Association) at www.nhtsa.dot.gov
