Mayor Wasowicz and the Special Events
Committee would like to thank all of the
volunteers for all of their time and hard
work, the Justice businesses who really
stepped up in monetary donations, the
Wilkins and Brodnicki schools and the
Justice Library for their participation.
Because of you all the holidays were
brighter and happier for our less fortunate
residents. This worthy program works due to
the many individuals that realize the
importance of helping people and getting
involved. The recipients are extremely
grateful for all that is done for them. We
ran into a previous year's basket recipient
while shopping for the food, that person
overheard who we were, what we were doing
and made it a point to thank us for the time
their family was helped by the Village
through its Holiday Food Basket Program.
We hope that next year everyone joins us
again in the 2012 Holiday Food Basket
Program and that there won't be as many
families in need, but if there is, rest
assured Mayor Wasowicz, The Special Events
Committee and the Village will be there and
do all they can to help those in need.
